Ron Snipes Town Hero Saves Man In Suicide Attempt

Wednesday, January 25th 2012, 7:21pm Jose R. Torres age 31 of Perth Amboy attempts suicide on the Victory Bridge. Mr. Ron Snipes Perth Amboy’s very own, a caring father and person, community service oriented, totally selfless attitude in life, to help everyone, becomes a hero! The Good Samaritan in Mr. Snipes saw a suspicious scene and called 911 for assistance. He saw Torres climbing over the railing in attempt to jump. Ron grabbed Torres by the wrists holding dead weight dangling over the water. The position was extremely awkward for extra hands to help lift Torres, so with all Ron’s might, and deep fire of selfless passion/power, he pulled Torres up to a level that the police officers could reach to pull Torres to safety.  Torres was taken to Raitan Bay Medical Center Amboy Division.
